This celebration cake was done for a little girls 1st birthday. Her mum wanted something girly and elegant and what’s more girly than ruffles and swags!

The ruffles were done in graduated pinks which I think makes them a bit more dramatic. Delicate swags were piped along the top tier which had a fondant topper number one and sugar flowers.

1st birthday cakes are always special as they’re the 1st big milestone in a little ones life and what better way to celebrate than with a beautiful cake!
